The Ashland City School District (grades K thru 8) participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. Through these programs we offer free and reduced-price meals to students from families who meet certain income requirements determined by the U.S. Government.
Ashland High School will continue to pilot a new program this school year, to replace the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. This will allow students to have a greater variety of meals, a la carte items and beverage options to better meet the students needs. This new program will continue to provide free and reduced breakfast and lunch for those that meet the financial guidelines. If you have a student attending the high school (grades 9 - 12) this school year, you will be required to complete a separate application. If you have a student attending the high school and another school in our district, you will need to fill out both applications. (K - 8 free and reduced packet, and the high school application for meal assistance)
Participation in the online payment system is optional. School cafeterias will continue to accept checks and cash as they have in the past.
If you have any questions, you may contact the food service office at 419-289-1117 ext. 2247.
** If your child has a life - threatening allergy or disability and must have substitutions or modifications in school meals, please have a licensed physician fill out the Medical Statement for Students Requiring Special Meals Form, and return to the Food Service Department, 1407 Claremont Ave., Ashland, Ohio 44805.
