Dear Reagan Arrow Families,

Thinking about the 2018 - 2019 school year has me very excited. It is a great time to be a Reagan Arrow! I am looking forward to seeing students' friendly faces that will light up our building on a daily basis. Reagan has amazing students, dedicated parents, motivated staff and committed community members to allow our building to continue our strong tradition of excellence! I look forward to the many opportunities to build relationships and provide support to your family throughout this school year!

There is a culture at Reagan Elementary that is second-to-none. Our staff promises to work wholeheartedly to put children first! We believe that our positive connections with students, families, colleagues, and community members are vital to every students' success. It is an attitude that enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun and nurturing school environment.

This school year our theme is going to be: Reagan Arrows are Building Character. We truly feel that in partnership with YOU, we hold the future in our hands every school day. We want to set children up for success not only as students, but as members of the community. We will be focusing on 11 different character traits this school year. You will see information coming home from teachers, as well as, myself about our focus for each month.

I encourage you to partner with us as we embark on a new school year! There are many ways that you can get involved to be a part of building positive connections with our staff, students, and community this year such as becoming a Reagan PTO parent, volunteering in the classrooms, reading with students, or assisting with our monthly incentives. Parent involvement is an important aspect of every child's education and is the primary factor in a student's success in school.

If I can ever be of assistance, please call or email me! It is through making connections with consistent, honest, and open communication that I can best advocate for and serve our students. Together we can truly make a difference!

Sincerely,

Nicole Brodie
