Principal's Message
As I assume my new role as principal of Ashland High School, I want to first thank Bob Lake for his many years of dedicated service to Ashland City Schools and wish him well in his retirement. As the next principal of AHS, I will approach my responsibility with an appreciation for the many outstanding traditions that have been developed over the years by those who have come before me. At the same time, I will strive to provide leadership that will continuously improve our school in a never-ending journey to reach excellence.
My hope for all students who attend Ashland High School is that they take advantage of the many curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that exist in our school. I am confident students will encounter teachers, counselors, coaches, and advisors who are committed to helping each individual “Achieve Higher Success.” This, after all, is the mission of the staff at AHS.
I hope you are as excited as I am about the start of the 2010-11 school year. I look forward to serving the students, staff, parents and the community to continue to make Ashland High School the best it can be.
