Ashland Univsersity has a rich tradition as a private, comprehensive institution preparing students for exciting professions and careers. The University consists of four academic colleges -- College of Arts & Sciences, Dauch College of Business & Economics, Schar College of Education and Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences -- as well as the Graduate, Online and Adult Studies; the Founders School for Continuing Education; and Ashland Theological Seminary.
Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center offers high school and adult education programs that will teach you what you need to know through hands-on classes so you can find immediate and fulfilling opportunities in the real world.
Since 1994, ACSF has generated close to $1 million in donations from AHS alumni, retired teachers, corporations, foundations and friends. These funds are used throughout the year to support Ashland City Schools with teacher grants and other special programs/contributions. These financial gifts are made possible by the donations received, as well as earned income and interest from the endowment fund. All contributions from the Ashland City Schools Foundation are designated to provide educational opportunities for all students and educators in the Ashland City School District.
The community foundation is like the community’s charitable savings account. We pool resources from community members, invest them and then use them to make grants for the betterment of the entire community. We exist to serve donors, nonprofit organizations and the community as a whole.
At the Ashland County Health Department, we strive to promote optimal health for individuals and families of the Ashland Community through public health education, prevention of disease and injury, and response to public health challenges.

JOG is a non-profit workforce development program with over 35 years of experience supporting young people in Ohio. Our services include mentoring, career counseling, and job placement assistance, all aimed at helping participants successfully transition from school to the workforce. Work experience is a key component of our program. Through JOG, participants are connected with employers who match their skills and interests, providing them with valuable hands-on experience, such as internships, apprenticeships, and other work-based learning opportunities.
