Col. Robert Springer

Spring 2023 Visit

In March, Col. Robert Springer, former NASA astronaut and decorated Vietnam veteran, visited Ashland High School to share what he learned in the military with students. He discussed his time becoming a pilot and a few stories from his experience in Vietnam as a jet and helicopter pilot.  Col. Springer flew over 500 combat missions before eventually becoming a NASA astronaut.
